Best for Brunch
New York’s brunch scene takes some beating. Whatever you’re craving you’ll be able to find, without having to look very hard. If you’re on the hunt for perfect eggs, beautiful coffee and a dash of Australian sunshine (which I certainly am, every Sunday), head to Milk Bar.
Located a couple of minutes away from Prospect Park, this Australian café is buzzing with hipster locals, hungry cyclists and runners, and stroller-pushing moms every weekend morning. Everyone’s here for two very good reasons: coffee and eggs.
Even if you wouldn’t normally order a cappuccino, make an exception: creamy, silky and dusted with chocolate, this is the best way to caffeinate your weekend. Follow it with any of the poached-egg offerings. The yolk is #foodporn perfection and whether you choose to have yours with lightly smoked salmon and fresh dill or beet hummus and avocado, you’re tummy, Instagram feed and spirit will be thrilled.
Milk Bar, 620 Vanderbilt Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11238.
